ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I worked with Artist Mark Fuller to create a program for “artistic bus shelters” using developer art in public place dollars that are now peppered throughout our city.
I persistently met with Commission Valeche and our neighboring municipal leaders for two years and subsequently gained the support to build the North County District Park
I am known throughout the county as a consensus builder, independent thinker, and puts neighborhoods first!
I was instrumental in the expansion of Joe Russo Park, and the improvement of many multi-purpose fields throughout the City.
Led efforts to establish Quiet Zones.

I worked with School Board members to vastly improve the safety and traffic flow for Duncan Middel School and Timber Trace Elementary School off Central Blvd.
Led efforts to begin a public safety campaign on e-bike safety.
Lobbied for the addition of traffic calming elements and street improvements for Shady Lakes Drive.
Championed for and adopted a Mobility Plan to keep developer impact dollars in Palm Beach Gardens!
Advocated for state funding and grants to provide safer pedestrian walkways, crossings, and bike lanes throughout Palm Beach Gardens.
Negotiated with County leaders for traffic improvements on Northlake, PGA Blvd., Hood Road, and Donald Ross Road.

Led efforts for the implementation of an economic development ordinance providing incentives that encourage quality businesses to grow in our city and/ or to locate to our City.
I have a track record for balancing budgets, fiscal responsibility and reducing taxes 3 years in a row!

Communication

Encouraged a residents’ opinion survey to establish city goals.
Advocated for live streaming of all Council Meetings Public Hearings.
Lobbied for public access to all submitted applications and development projects on city website.
I am known for listening and have an open door policy for residents, communities and advocate on their behalf.
